וַיְהִ֤י הָעָם֙ כְּמִתְאֹ֣נְנִ֔ים רַ֖ע בְּאָזְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וַיִּשְׁמַ֤ע יְהוָה֙ וַיִּ֣חַר אַפּ֔וֹ וַתִּבְעַר־בָּם֙ אֵ֣שׁ יְהוָ֔ה וַתֹּ֖אכַל בִּקְצֵ֥ה הַֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃
Ang bayan ay naging tulad ng mga naghahanap ng maireklamo, na masama sa pandinig ng Walang-Hanggan. Narinig ito ng Walang-Hanggan, at nag-alab ang Kanyang galit; nagliyab sa kanila ang apoy ng Walang-Hanggan, at tinupok nito ang dulo ng kampo.

But there were wicked men of the people, who, being discontent, devised and imagined evil before the Lord; and it was heard before the Lord, whose displeasure was moved; and a flaming fire was kindled among them from the Lord, which destroyed some of the wicked in the outskirts of the house of Dan, with whom was a graven image.
